Perhaps you noticed a slightly different name and website address...we are excited to announce that the Society has begun the legal process to change its name to the Oakville & Milton Humane Society.
This change allows us to better reflect the geographic area we are responsible for, and the communities that we serve.
Slowly, over the next few months, you will notice the name and logo change as it begins to make its appearance on our printed materials, newsletter, vans, uniforms, and throughout this website --and a brand new website, with a whole new look, is coming soon!
Don't be surprised or alarmed, it's only a name, and we will continue to care for the animals and their families in the communities of Oakville and Milton as we have for over 70 years. Please know that as this job grows and our service area develops, we continue to value and are grateful for your support.
The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is excited to announce that we have been approved for a grant to upgrade our IT Infrastructure. The grant has been generously awarded to us by The Ontario Trillium Foundation. Over the course of the next year, we will be upgrading our hardware and software, allowing us to better serve the communities of Oakville & Milton. We will also be upgrading our website for a more user friendly and interactive look.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation is an agency of the Government of Ontario
